Pneumonia? What?

I went to the doctor today. I felt worse than I had felt the day before, so I figured I should follow my own advice. Don't you hate it when you have to do that? So, I dragged myself out of bed, showered, dressed etc. Everything felt like I was in slow motion.

One thing I like about Group Health (HMO) is that you don't have to sit long before they are calling you in. The nurse had be blowing into a tube and I wasn't passing. My doctor had me in the xray room getting chest xrays, then back my exam room for a breathing treatment (which I must say worked well), and then taking some blood tests. My doctor very nice but is Indian. I have a hard time understanding her, so I usually see a physicians assistant... but she wasn't available, so I saw the physician. At this point, I decided that I needed whoever even if I didn't understand them. I know when I say something like that, I sound like I am getting older. I guess I am. And I walked away only understanding what I really needed to know and not much else. I knew why the xrays and the treatment but I don't know why I had the blood tests. And I ask questions too.

I am now home with four bottle of pills. I get tomorrow off too. Doctor's orders. I sent the paperwork over to Enrollment Services so that they had the doctor's orders and went to bed.
Maybe tomorrow will be better.
