Sorry for being gone... but things and time got away from me again. I have been very busy. So, where were we before I left? I was showing you what we did on our vacation week. It is really more of a "stay-cation" because we decided to stay closer to home because of the economy etc.
This is La Connor. We visited there July 8th, 9th, and 10th.
I took this picture from the Rainbow Bridge and then remembered that I am afraid of heights... I do that a lot. So I got the picture and hurried back the car. BUT, I got my picture of La Connor.
Here is an example of the buildings in the downtown area of La Connor.

The water is salt water... a part of the Puget Sound. Looks like a river, doesn't it? See Rainbow bridge in the distance?

I will stretch this into a few posts. I have to show you yet our ferry ride, what it is like at Friday Harbor, Orcas Island, etc. I can also show you a few rooms in this house. So stay tuned!
