Enumclaw Street Fair with Mt Rainier in the background
Despite tempertures in the 60's last week, all of a sudden on Friday we got some summer weather. And then on Saturday, we were back into the swing of summer again. We don't know how to dress these days. We just layer.
We have jackets etc, and then tear them off when it gets warm... if it does. We have mild weather compared to the rest of the country. Saturday was in the 80's, there was a small breeze blowing, and there is hardly any humidity (which is strange since we have so much rain). So it is comfortable to get out and walk around.
We jumped in the car to drive to Enumclaw to meet my friend Renee and her family. There was a Danish breakfast we attended. We were able to have Aebleskivers. And then we walked around the fair. Click on "Aebleskivers" to learn more. There are recipes online to be able to make them... but you have to have a special pan. I hope to get one here somewhere. I know I felt like I was in Solvang (much like Leavenworth, WA only Danish... and in California) when I was eatting them :-)

Below is another photo of Mt Rainier. It is so awesome in person that I can't stop taking photos of it especially on a beautiful day.

Hi Danna! That was cute about the boy or girl. Finding out baby's gender is anticlimactic these days so that was a fun way to make it exciting! I always remember abelskivers from Solvang. Have a great rest of the week! (((Hugz)))
Hi Danna! I have an Aebleskivers pan...I got it from QVC years ago, & love making them. I'll have to check out the recipe site though, as I always fill them with jam & than put powered sugar over them. The kids LOVE them!
Wow - I would love to have days of it being 60! It's so hot here.
Loved your pictures that you shared. Sending you big hugs!
