It is best if you start at the bottom...
Sunday, May 24 - In bed all day recovering and feeling sad that I am missing such a great sunny weekend. :-( I must have a weak immune system right now from the antibiotics that I have taken. Anyone know how to change that quickly?
Saturday, May 23 - This morning when I got up, I was dizzy. My stomach wasn't settled and I ached. I stubbornly got the boys bathed and ready to go but by the time it was time to go. I was not feeling well enough to go to the BBQ. I was so disappointed. Not only to miss the BBQ but the miss the beautiful day. And I had the boys dressed so cute too. In the afternoon, I was in a jacket with a blanket over me... AND it was 71 degrees outside. What in the world? I sent Dave on to his mother's so that she wouldn't be disappointed. The boys and I took a nap.
Later Kari came by and picked the boys up to relieve me. She is a bit better. But now I am the worse of the two of us. I must of had another high temp all night. Finally my stomach began to feel better.
Friday, May 22 - It was a strange day today. The system that we use to register students didn't work for half of the day, then when it finally did our two station's electricity went out. The electricity came back on and then there was a fire drill.
Kari couldn't go to work yet because of her flu. They have her off until Saturday or Sunday. I got the boys again. It is to be a wonderful weekend. Warm and sunny. I went to Target to buy the boys some shorts and a T shirts for the BBQ tomorrow. They are going to look so cute. I also got MacKenzie's gift for her birthday party on Sunday. It is going to be a fun weekend. Hooray!
Thursday, May 21 - Kari went to the doctor because she was still sick to her stomach etc. Swine flu? Maybe, they didn't check. They gave her some cough medicine and it put her to sleep. I am still in charge of the boys. I did OK getting them to daycare and me to work today.
Wednesday, May 20 - I made it to Bible Study and it was a very good bible study too. On my way home, Kari called and she was really in a bad way. She was dizzy and sick to her stomach. I went to her house and got the boys so she could rest. When I got there (9 pm) they were in control. Poor Kari. In minutes, I had control. I believe kids really like it when their adults come into the picture and take control and parent.
Tuesday, May 19 - I had Riley today and took him to school again. He would love it if I did that all the time... everyday. I think to myself "Well, if I lost my job, there would be at least that to be joyful about." Kari is still not well.
Monday, May 18- Not much to write about. Shirlyn didn't make it in today. Kari still isn't feel very well. She managed the boys but still was in a bad way. She couldn't breath very well and come over to our house for a while. Again, an other reason why I am glad we didn't move out to Maple Valley.
Sunday, May 17- We, the boys and I, made it to church which seemed a miracle after all the illness. Kari didn't make it because she isn't feeling well now. Hopefully she will be better tomorrow. We went to check on Kari. She seemed a little better, so the boys stayed with her. I went on to work on some other things that had to be done for the week.
