Home Alone

It isn't too often that I get a night where everyone is gone... but tonight's the night!!! The boys are with their mom, Aaron is at school or work, and Dave is at Toastmasters. There isn't bible study for a couple of weeks... So, here I am just having a catch up time on the computer.

I use to farm more that I have been. Too busy to farm... and that isn't good. I seem to get some relaxation from playing those games. Farm Town was my favorite, then I began to play Country Life. Now I sort of play that because my plants won't die in that game.

This week has been tough. It has been all kinds of people coming up to get help. It is one person after another... hopefully it will start to die down soon. It bothers me to keep up the pace for so many hours. I have to get some music going or something because it has been really boring.

One of the guys at work that attends my church gave me a CD today that is about Extended Worship. There is worship music, but there is also scripture reading. It is really good. I had never heard of it before. I think it is really good because it is the Holy Week where we meditate on the scriptures and what Jesus did for us.

I rather miss Beth Moore tonight. I like her humor. And you all know that I am trying find more humor and share it. These times are rough... and humor is one of the best ways to defeat feeling defeated. Also if you know a movie that makes you laugh and you like seeing to cheer you up... go ahead and send me the title too.

Also I bought some things for the boys for their Easter Baskets. I have to try to get them together to see what I have so that I can go buy more if needed. I decided to buy these baskets that I can use again after Easter is done so I don't have to pack them away. I will try to show you in a photo when it is said and done.

This weekend on Saturday is our church's Easter Egg hunt. There are thousands of plastic eggs that need to be filled with candy. Not sure if I am going to get to help out there... but I hope I can. It is just that I have the boys too. Dave will be around so maybe I can manage to assist. It will be great fun.

Can you believe tomorrow is April 1st? And that's no joke! I feel like it is an April Fools Joke in itself. Bam! April! Well, whether I believe it or not, it is... I am still trying to slow things down so I can enjoy the season. I love Spring! All the blooms and all. It has been wet around here the last few days, but when it is sunny it beautiful.
