Lake SammamishSeriously!?! Can you believe it is June? Where has the time gone? I am once again convinced that I need to slow down and smell the "roses". Anyone with me?
Yesterday we went for a drive north of where we live to a city named Issaquah. I just thought it would be different because we seem to always go east or south... and sometimes west... never north. There is a large lake there named Lake Sammamish. It is 512 acre day use park. It was an important culture zone for local Indian tribes for centuries. It has 6,858 ft of waterfront for the visitors to enjoy.
It was too soggy for camping this Memorial Day weekend. We were very sad that it wasn't sunnier. But the sun finally came out in the end and we BBQ'd. Just in the nick of time.
Have a great week!
