Memorial Day Weekend
I don't know how your weekend was, but ours here was soggy and wet. It wasn't at all what we had hoped for. Rather than having a Spring day, we had one that was more like Fall. It was rather madding. I couldn't even garden. I ended up cleaning up an area in one of the rooms that I had been trying to get to for a long time.
Finally we just gave up and went for a drive anyway on Saturday regardless of the rain. One thing that is wonderful here are all the shades of green especially in the Spring. We went for a drive to Enumclaw to go to the Memorial Cementery. The picture above is what it looks like on Memorial Day. I wanted to show the boys why we are having a holiday and explain why it was important.
Sunday was church and just staying at home. Kari wasn't feeling well and was sleeping a lot, so it was best that we didn't have a beautiful day calling us out to play.
Well, this week is half over... can you believe it? Have a good one!

Hi Danna! I can't believe June is hear already either! This year has flown by so far. Half gone - still can't believe it!
I would trade some of this heat (supposed to be 105 on Friday) for some of your rain.
Hope Kari feels better soon. Sending you big hugs!
