McGrath's Fish HouseAfter work, Dave and Aaron came to pick me up at the college. We headed to Federal Way, a city not too far from the college... about 20 minutes (everything is about 20 minutes, huh?). It is a new fish house that was built that we had never tried before. So, we decide to take Aunt Butchie to dinner there for her birthday. She lives about 20 minutes from there coming from the other directions (LOL).
I guess it isn't a new restaurant to the NW as you can tell by their website HERE. It was actually pretty good. I had the Halibut Platter but couldn't eat it all. I also tried an appetizer called Pesto, Artichoke Cracker Pizza's. Yum! I have to figure out how to do that myself.
Aunt Butchie's birthday is close to my Aunt Clara's birthday, which I find interesting and makes it easy to remember. We had a great time catching up on everyone's news. I think the last time we saw her was at Christmas or Thanksgiving. She is a very independent lady... from Kansas (like Aunt Clara).
Hope you had a wonderful Monday and also have a great Tuesday! It is the last day of June which I hate to see go. This June has been fantastic, as Junes go in the NW. Usually it is more rainy until the 4th of July. But we have had descent weather compared to our winter this year (which wasn't so descent. I am still not over it snowing on April 1st which wasn't a good April Fools joke).

we have had it hot for quite some time now and I'm already wishing it was Fall! Not much you can do when it gets above 100 except stay in where it's cool.

Hi Danna! Looks like my kind of place! I love fish and seafood. We're having Alaskan salmon tonight- not farmed- and they finally had it at Costco today. We will BBQ it. We had so much good seafood on our trip to Oregon last summer. It's good and hot here and humid, to. Very tropical and that's why we had those fleecy clouds for the pretty sunset. (((Hugz)))
