Sunday - A warm 80 degree day with Mt. Rainier in sight. Mt. Rainier is about 60 miles away from us. But it is an icon of this area. When it is clear and we see the mountain, we say the mountain is "out".
Today we went to church... all of us; Kari, Dave, me and the boys. It was about not complaining or argueing (Phil 2), then we went to Wendy's for lunch. We decided that we would have a BBQ later on that day because the weather was so nice.
We went home and tried to put the boys down for a nap. "Tried" is the key word. Kari went to the grocery store for some food, and the rest of us got things in order.
Later we had hamburger and hot dogs, grapes, chips and salsa, and strawberries. It was a lot of family fun. And after all our illness, we feel back on track.
Saturday - Riley had an early T Ball game this morning. The weather is really nice so it wasn't hard to get out there to the field. Afterwards, we went down to Saltwater Park so let the boys throw stones into the water, play on the playground, and walk around the park... there is a hiking trail there. We thought we would start teaching them about hiking again so that we could start hiking now.
We also stopped at Lowe's and I got some soil for my flowers etc. When I got home I started working in the front yard patio area; pulling weeding picking up things that the snow had cracked or broken, and putting out the pots that I bought from McLendon's the other day. It is coming along now.
Friday - Fridays are always nice because the weekend is upon us. Shirlyn and I went to Safeway after work and we both got the Family Friday meal for tonight. $5 gets a roasted chicken. I also got some potato salad. I came home and set up our dinner out on the deck. While eatting we decided to go to a movie... so off we went. We saw Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. It was a nice comedy for the evening. I would give it a C+. Not all that. But nice.
Thursday - is it the weekend yet? I am wanting to get out into the sunshine.
Wednesday - Bible Study was good again. I realized that I have to miss the last couple of evenings of it because of Foundations class. Hmmm I will see what will work.

Hi Danna! That must be a treat to have a warm sunny day. I'm guessing Mt Rainier still has snow on it? Definitely pretty scenery there. I like Matthew MaConahuey but he needs to stop doing silly comedies. He had such a good start in "A Time to Kill" I think it was. Happy June! (((Hugz)))
Hi Danna, sounds like you're having some lovely weather and really enjoying it :-) We have started to get really hot here and it will be in the 90's all next week when my sister gets here! Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs

Ciao Danna, glad you are having a lovely time and weather, too. :) Enjoy summer!
Hi Danna! I can't believe people up there would complain about 75 degree weather! I would think it would help dry them out... despite your 25 day drought. ;) I have found memories of t-ball and also girls softball. Jessica was a pitcher and she played softball up until HS when her classes took too much of her time. I tried to do your quiz but it had been removed. If you redid it, could you send it my way again. Enjoy the week ahead! (((Hugz)))
Ciao Danna, how are you? :) Enjoy the week ahead!
