What Do You Think It Means?

Red Sun In Seattle
When we came out of church on Sunday evening, the sun was going down. Instead of the sunset, we had a red sun. A little reversed. It was so strange to see that most of us were trying to capture the sight on our cell phone cameras but it wouldn't take it. All we would get was a dot of light... no red. So I went onto the web to get this photo from the news that someone took with the filter we would have needed. So, here you go...

How did this happen? Don't know really. My guess is that there was haze coming off the Puget Sound and it caused the sun to look red at sunset. There wasn't a fire or smog (asked by many Californians back in my home state). It is called Raleigh Scattering when we see colors in the sky. This was just a red sun going down behind the Olympic Mountains. There has always been meaning to events in the sky... a sort of prediction. I haven't looked it up, but anyone know what a red sun might mean? I saw it as different but beautiful... but I did feel like I was in a Sci Fi movie. Have a great weekend!

Hi Danna! I'm sorry that I haven't been around to visit. It's been a rough few weeks here, so not a whole lot of time for the computer, aside from posting.

I too want to give lots of wonderful memmories to Elliot, Emily, & Avery. Fill their little memory banks to the brim! And mine too. :-) You are a wonderful Nana!
The red sun was amazing! I've never seen that either. You are right - it looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.

Have a blessed week Danna. Hope to keep up with your days this week. Hugs!
