Brady in the game (although running the other way)Last weekend was busy. First this weekend Brady had his soccer game. He is only on the field for an hour but that is long enough for these little guys. I have decided to feature him in today's post because his event was first in the line of things we did.
After the game, I took the boys shopping for Lindsey's wedding gift. Early that morning I had made the boys pancakes for breakfast. Every time I use the electric grill, I am glad we have it. So I decided that Lindsey needed one too.
We made it to the wedding before 6 pm out in Orting, which wasn't easy. I had the boys nap (after many refusals, they did), got them dressed up in their good dress clothes, and got dressed myself. I also had to wrap the big box the grill was in. The boys looked good, the present looked good too... I just hope that I had all the things on me in place. It seemed to be OK.
The next morning we got up and went to church. And after church, Kari and I decided to go to the Puyallup Fair. It was the last day and we had tickets. I had tickets to get in and to park. So that was free. We ate scones, Kari got a coin skirt, I got music, and we got these tweezers that seems to make life easier. (I will feature that item sometime in the future.) But what is the fairfor but to buy gadgets? And yes, it sort of hurts, but it is sort of fun.
