TGIF! and Facebook

One of the reasons I haven't been as faithful at writing in this blog as I was a year ago is because I "found" facebook. When I began to blog, I was so excited that I went to work and showed Lindsey (the bride last week) what I had begun doing (that was two years ago). She said, "Do you know about facebook?" I had to admit that I had heard of My Space and Facebook but had never seen them before. So, she introduced me. Soon I had a facebook account but I didn't really have any interest in it like she had. I didn't really see the reason for it.


Then about a year later, I decided to drag it back out and take another look at it. Soon I was adding more friends and now some of my relatives were on it too. I would get updates on how they were doing... something that I would wonder from time to time, was now at my fingertips daily. My blogger friends were becoming also my friends on Facebook and before I knew it, they were inviting me to become their "Neighbor" in FarmTown.


FarmTown is a farming game that I have really got into and it has helped me in a really stressful time when we didn't know if we would lose our jobs etc. Like reading a book, one can get lost there and
