Pumpkin Field Visit

Down the hill from where we live, is a pumpkin field. They also have grown corn, so there is a big corn maze there. Here in WA, that is very common to see. It gets out to which corn maze is the best one to experience. They also have a hay ride. We didn't have time today for the hay ride, but maybe soon... before the end of the month. Riley remembered the hay ride at Leavenworth and was asking me if he could go sometime. Above is a pile of pumpkins near the corn stalks for the Autumn look. We ended up buying two pumpkins for his mom's place. I will get a bigger one later from a store or something.

Riley (best photo) at Pumpkin Field

Riley seems serious about driving this John Deere, doesn't he?
Here's a smile... he is having fun!

You can't tell from the photos, but the ground was really muddy and wet... I had to stop from sliding a couple of times. I looked over at Riley to see him stepping hard into a puddle (that's a boy for you), and in his good shoes. Yuck!

Here is Riley sitting on hay etc. He is showing his bottom teeth because he has his first tooth loose! Yep... he is going to lose it soon... maybe this week, but by the end of October. He is really excited about it, but he doesn't want anyone but me to touch it. He is afraid that someone will just pull it, like a bandaid. Sounds like me when I was his age. Some things never change. Thank goodness...

Hi Danna! That looks like a great Pumpkin Farm! Did Riley think of Farm Town especially when on the tractor? :) (((Hugz)))
