Is the word that came to mind right now as I strolled through the Student Center. There are always students sitting around at this time playing cards, working on their lap tops, or having conversations. Some gather here in this building while others gather in the Tech Center or the library. Down stairs from my "hide out" is the stage. I can hear music playing where some dance group is practicing.
I heard one conversation between two guys. One said he fell asleep yesterday in the sun and is now burnt. People here (unless they are ex Californians) do not know how to act when the sun comes out. We had 3 really great days of sunshine. No one in their right mind would stay indoors when Seattle skies are blue. It is unheard of.
I stayed low because of not feeling great but in the evening we went to Burien for some Chinese food with the family for Mother's Day. I thought I would do alright but it was rough. Nothing that sounds like one has a "hair ball" especially in a restaurant is good.
The next day... Mother's Day, I didn't make it to church. But Dave took me to breakfast with the boys. Aaron got me a present. And later Kari came over. We worked on her poetry blog. You can see it at http://poetrycafe.blogspot.com
Today I am at work. I am feeling a lot better than last week. I must have felt older with this pneumonia because I keep looking at people near my age and thinking "They look old" Hmmmm, I think I will try to make the best of whatever I have left.
Have a great week!

Hello Danna, I'm so sorry about your pneumonia but glad you're feeling better now. Seattle sounds like such a neat place, I'd love to visit it. Take good care of yourself, hugs
Hi Danna! Sorry you've been so sick. Have you heard that once you have pneumonia, it's easier to get it again? I was told that but not sure of it's validity. You remind me of my friend who went to his 40th HS reunion, took one look inside, and said, "This can't be the right place... those people are all OLD!" ;)
