Low and Slow

Well, last Monday I was feeling OK to go to work, I thought. After one day, I was exhausted. So I went back to the doctor on Tuesday... and was told "You should be resting!" After I explained that I was needed at work and couldn't take off, they handed me a note from the doctor for Tuesday AND Wednesday off. OK, I got the picture.

So, I took the time off to rest. I found a series on British TV on Netflix that I became interested in watching... it has 7 series (seasons) and the first two had eight episodes in it... the third has eleven. I am on the third... so that proves that I have been resting. It is called Monarch of the Glen and takes place in Scotland in the Highlands. I have always been interested in England, Ireland, and Scotland. I have studied literature... which I have a degree in too, so it isn't surprising to me that I became interested in this series. The Mac Donald family (the main characters in the show) is very interesting too. Each character has their quirks and are very lovable.

The weekend was warm and sunny... as was Thursday and Friday. It is great for my garden. I will take photos of my little garden soon. Not too much to report at the moment. The lettuce is coming along nicely. It should rain today. That will be good for it too.
