Not Too Well... Thank You

What I began suffering from on Monday... well, I am still suffering from. When the winds began to blow on Monday, I began to ache and cough. I felt much like I did last year when I got pneumonia, but not as bad. I don't have a fever like I did then. Breathing is difficult... not impossible but it isn't easy. So think good thoughts for me and send up some prayers... Thanks.

What I am doing is having coughing spells, can't sleep well, and I am wheezing. So to keep my spirits up I have my cups of hot tea and watch Netflix on my netbook. Last night I tried watching a British movie... and that put me to sleep. Normally, I love them. However, at 2-3 am I started coughing and was up for the rest of night. I might have dozed off a few times. I got out the Dick Van Dyke Show on Netflix and watched a few episodes. One of the episodes I was laughing so hard... it was nice to laugh, even though it made me cough.

In that episode, Buddy, Sally, Laura, and Rob go to an auction. They are new at it and are bidding for something Laura wants to buy. Finally, Rob catches on that signals are being used by other bidders so he starts to inform the other three what he is observing and how the signals work... unaware that he is bidding and raising the bid with each movement. Laura, sitting next to him, finally makes him aware of what he is doing but it doesn't seem to change things much. Even trying to raise his hand to tell the auctioneer what has happened causes the bid to go up.
Laughter is good medicine...
