Well that is an encouraging title, but that is what came to my mind. I guess I am showing my age there. Oh well. My thoughts for this post are on work mostly because that has been my main focus since Srey and I started helping out around the college. I have been asked because I know two other areas... Registration and Admissions... to move into Enrollment Services in two weeks.
I love my job in Outreach but with what is happening in the economy it will be best... saver possibly, to be in ES. So, I am transitioning out of Outreach. I have made a list to complete to make sure that ReBecca can take over what I had scheduled. It isn't easy to do, but I believe, not only because I have been asked to do it, that it is what I should be doing. I told you about the peace I felt the other day. But just because I have peace about it, doesn't mean that I don't feel bad that things have changed. I will miss my friends that are college reps at events... but we are the social types and we just don't "get together". We are all about "getting together". You haven't lived until you are around a bunch of people that are all as outgoing as we are. No one can talk... yet everyone does. Anyway, I go to meetings now that don't have anything to do with what I will be doing... so I will have to review which meetings I should attend. I am in "transition".
Don't you love that word? Transition... Change. Not many people do. It isn't easy to change. It isn't easy to have too many changes at one time. Some people do. I have trouble with even the time change. I remember when I was pregnant with Kari, one of my friends would say "I love being pregnant". I loved the idea of having a baby but being pregnant isn't a picnic, to me. In fact, I did it only once. I am glad that some people are different though. It causes me to try to see things their way.

I want to wish Lindsey, my co-worker in Outreach a Happy Birthday! She is pictured above in our last summer retreat at Lake Meridian.
Well, got to go... Have a great day!

Hi Danna! It's best to do what you need to do to make your job more secure. I was just writing my blog entry for tomorrow and talking about "Pink Friday." Tomorrow in our school district, many teachers will be getting possible pink slips. I guess Jessica is timing her pregnancy well. Maybe by the time she's ready to go back fulltime, things will have improved. Have a great weekend! (((Hugz)))
Ciao Danna, happy Friday! You are right, it isn't easy to change. But most of the time is necessary. One of the first phrases I learned in English was: "If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies." :) Happy weekend ahead!
