Friday Harbor, WA continued

Above is the marina next to the ferry dock. Out there in the harbor, sea planes also land to come into the marina to dock.

To the left of where we are sitting, there is more of the harbor where boats are anchored.

Above is where we are sitting having our lunch and watching the busy harbor.

Below I am looking up one of the main streets from in front of the marina. I remember sitting in the place the first time I came here just after moving here from California.

Friday Harbor isn't the only place on the island to visit. There are many. If you took a look at the website last Monday that I had posted... the one on the San Juan Islands and the cams... then you can see there are places to visit on San Juan Island itself. One famous place is the historical Roche Harbor. Click on the name and you will see a link of that harbor on the same island as Friday Harbor. I have gone there when I have taken the car on the ferry, but today we are only walk on passengers on the ferry. We decided to stay only a few hours... we had lunch and we went shopping for "Friday Harbor" T- Shirts for a souvenir. We did the same in Leavenworth when we went there, so the boys have two new shirts to wear all summer long.

Tomorrow there will be more on our ferry ride to Orcas Island etc. Have a good day...
