I have a couple of days to be at work this week. Tomorrow I will spend some time working in the Welcome Center. Tuesday, I will be working as well. Then on Wednesday, I will be working half the day. I will then have the rest of the week off. It is nice to have this break from everything; especially thinking about how things have changed recently at work and the threat of losing our jobs.
As I mentioned yesterday, the rain has been causing the snow on the ground to melt away. This was a record breaking snowfall. The last time Seattle had this amount of snow at Christmas was in 1861. That would have been around the Civil War. It is hard to wrap your mind around. But I have been wearing my snow boots for two weeks now, so it is easier for me to believe.
It is now the time of the year we begin to think again of resolutions or how we would like to work on improving ourselves or our lives. Have you begun to feel the need to think about it? What is it are you thinking you would like to change? I think I will just go back to my list from last year and go with that. :-)
