Here are a few photos of the boys on Christmas Eve. I don't know about you, but there is something about the day after Christmas. I know, I know... there are great sales on. But there is something in the air or lack of something in the air. It is that everything will go back to "normal" and Christmas will not be here again until 365 days have past. We will go through another Easter, Mother's Day, summer, beginning of school, and Halloween. Our kids will grow and there will be changes for the better or for the worse. And we hope that we made enough memories for everyone until we get another chance. There is a let down or a "coming down" from all the holidays bring on us. I begin to think about the new year ahead. I pack things away and my house looks all of a sudden cleaner from less red and green clutter. One also begins to think about how they would like to proceed in the next year. The next couple of days I will probably write about those thoughts. People call them resolutions. Most people that begin resolutions break them within two weeks. But there is something to review one's life and making plans to work on different elements of their lives. I think that a New Year is just as good of a time to do that reflection as any other... at least you have company.
Today I have off from work. I planned to take this day off regardless of the weather outside. Snow cancelled Monday and Wednesday of this week already. So, I am getting sort of a little vacation. I must admit that now that Christmas will not be consuming as much time this weekend, I may now have some time to do some reflecting. Feel free to let me know what you are thinking about as we take a turn into 2009. Have a good day!
