Sorry guys for being MIA a few days. I don't remember Monday. Tuesday I had my wisdom tooth pulled. It was on the upper right side. Having it pulled wasn't bad. I even took the boys to the library story time in the evening. It was a little hard to sleep with gauze in my mouth. So, I took it out around 2 am. But I still couldn't sleep well.
Today was busy and tomorrow I have two presentations. I won't go into the office since I will be out all day. So after I write this I am planning to go to bed and I will try to get back into the swing of visiting blogs and writing my own. I guess after making the goal of blogging one year each day, I have thought I would skip a few. But it isn't really a good habit to get into. I miss not reading your blogs daily and now I have many to catch up on.
My mom is doing well. She is out of the hospital and has gone back to work. She told me tonight that they were having 80+ degree weather there because of the Santa Ana's. We are mild here for the moment. No snow (good), no pouring rain such as 8 inches in 36 hours like last week, and no winds. I saw the blue sky and the moon for the first time in weeks today. It is a treat when they aren't around. One really appreciates the view and takes it in after a long time of not having them. I can't tell you how many days it has been since we had a sunny day, but it has been a while. It is one of the most difficult things to deal with in the NW in Seattle.
I have often thought what I would feel if I had decided to return to California. There were things there that weren't easy to live with either. I heard on the radio the other day, that many young adults were leaving California and moving to other states. They mentioned Denver as one of the places they were moving. I left California in an Exodus too. In 1993 when I moved many people were choosing Washington and Colorado. Many of my friends moved to Colorado Springs with the Focus on the Family folks. They moved the company/ ministry in 1991 or 92 there, and many moved with them. I knew two families that were in my home group from church that moved. Then not long after that, I moved. I think I would miss Washington very much if all of a sudden I found myself living in California.
Well, I better go to bed now. I will be around soon. Have a good rest of the week!

Hi Danna,
I'm so pleased your Mom is doing well and she's back at work...wow! God is good.
Well I'm so pleased your experience of having your wisdom tooth pulled wasn't a bad one, as I know I am going to have to get mine pulled at some point, I just keep putting it off thinking it will be painful. I always have said I would rather give birth than have a tooth pulled! Hope your mouth continues to heal up well for you.
I'm so pleased you enjoyed my pics. i do think pics tell a better story, and I always enjoy seeing them on others blogs, so why not.
Enjoy the rest of your week and keep warm! Hugs 'n blessings.
Hi Danna! If I left California, it would probably be for Colorado, too. I love the outdoorsy focus of people in that state. However, being that far from the ocean would be hard for me.
Sounds like you're doing well after your wisdom tooth being pulled. Had it ever emerged? I had mine pulled in my early 20's as there wasn't room for them to come in.

Hey girlie, just wanted to pop over and let you know that there is a little something for you at "Life is in the Details".
Have a blessed Friday.
Hugs,
Cindy
Ciao Danna, glad your mom is doing well! :) Have a happy weekend! ((HUGS))
Hi Danna! Enjoy your day off! Nice that MLK day is so close to the Inauguration. I'll bet MLK never thought we'd reach this day so soon. Too bad he couldn't have lived to see his dream realized! (((Hugz)))
