That's How I Roll...

"That's how I roll" is a saying that my daughter Kari likes to say at opportune times. It makes me laugh every time. I try to use it too on others as well as she does. There are a lot of little sayings that my family likes to use to communicate a point. We get a lot of our material from movies and TV. We try to make each other laugh with our ability to use the right phrase at the right time. It is one of the ways we try to stay sane (if that is what you call it) in the pressures going on today. One of Dave's favorite responses to the question "How are you?" He will say, "Magic" Just to say something different than "OK" or "Fine". I will often say "I am living the dream.", which usually gets a chuckle because I am usually involved in a difficult project like getting out of the house with the boys in tow. Humor is one of the ways I have found to lighten the mood and attitude that these times have brought on us. The Bible affirms the healing power of joy when it says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength" (Prov. 17:22, NLT). This scriptural truth suggests that laughter holds as much healing power as medicine. And that is how I roll...

Hi Danna! Happy Birthday to your mom! Humor is key and we get tons of material from pop culture, too. ;)

Here's how to get to the Windows Aero theme: go to Control Panel Home -> Appearance and Personalization -> Customize Colors and click on "Open classic appearance properties for more color options." Then you'll be on the window Appearance Settings so go to Color Scheme: Select Windows Aero and click on Apply then OK. Magic! ;)
